Ocho Rios is equidistant between Montego Bay and Kingston International Airports. Turtle Towers is situated on Ocho Rios Beach. It is next door to the Island Village complex, designed by Chris Blackwell of Island Records and Palm productions fame. There is a cinema, interactive reggae museum, open concert area, Margueritaville Sports Bar, a private beach with watersports, a boardwalk with eateries, gift shops, pub, icecream outlets etc. all in the complex. The property is a two minute walk to shops and plazas and a short taxi ride to Dunns River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Shaw Park Gardens. The town has a variety of eating places, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Jamaican, Fast Food Outlets and our famous jerked cuisine, as well as nightclubs and a casino. Ocho Rios hosts an annual Jazz Festival in June, and other musical showcases are held at the James Bond Beach including Sashi - a Reggae fete and various events during Carnival week (after Easter).
