Westward is a newly renovated superior house located right above the beach, in the unspoilt fishing village of Portleven. She boasts the most fantastic views over Mounts bay and beyond. Westward has three bedrooms, two double and a bunk room. It also has three ensuite bathrooms one with bath and hand held shower and two with large shower cubicles. The main bedroom is a real feature, with huge windows with panoramic views and private balcony. The second bedroom has a double bed with Scandinavian furniture and refreshing fabrics. The third bedroom has bunk beds and storage cupboard. The lounge and dining area has fantastic views from the huge window, sofas to seat 8 people, TV, video, DVD Stereo CD System and Payphone. The dining area seats 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, electric hob and oven, dishwasher and a large fridge/freezer.

Westward is fully central heated and the tariff includes all heating costs. Leading from the lounge is a large sun terrace and an enclosed lawned garden.

Westward is a short walk to the harbour centre along the coastal road above the beach offering stunning views. The village offers a choice of restaurants, three pubs,cafes a number of craft shops and a small but well stocked supermarket. Porthleven also has a postoffice, newsagent fresh fish shop and bakery. Westward is about 4 miles from the famous Flambards theme park and also 4 miles from Poldark Mine. Again a short walk in the opposite direction to the village is Loe Pool which is on the Penrose Estate and is a beautiful freshwater lake which has a path running right round. Sea fishing trips can be arranged from the harbour, cycling is excellent along the coastal paths and the quiet country lanes. There is a large selection of golf courses within 10 minutes drive from Westward. The main towns of Truro, Penzance and Falmouth are all within 10 - 20 minutes drive.

The nearest airport is Newquay which runs a very good service from Stansted by RyanAir.
