This is a privately owned two bedroomed holiday
apartment, (both bedrooms are air conditioned). It comfortably
sleeps four adults (fold-up bed suitable for 5th person/child).
Cot can be supplied. Newly equipped kitchen with electric cooker,
fridge and micro-wave. It has a balcony which faces south-west
(thus facing the sun until mid-afternoon)and has lovely sea views.
It is on the middle of 3 floors. One bathroom. The spacious lounge
is well furnished and has a radio-casette/CD player but deliberately
no TV. Washing machine (ideal for rentals with children or long-stay).
The pool (open all year)is just 10 metres long.
There is a sun-roof (including
a shaded area) with wonderful views over the sea, the town and towards
the Almijarra mountains.
It should be noted that access to the apartment entails climbing
9 steps from the road to the pool area then a further 12 steps to
the apartment itself.
On-street parking at front, side and rear of apartment.
The apartment overlooks the sea, is on top of
a cliff but access to the Burriana beach (via steps) is only 50
metres away. The town centre, with the beautiful "Balcon
de Europa," is only a 5 minute walk. Our location, on Calle
Carabeo, is midway between the town centre and the Parador hotel.
The town boasts hundreds of small restaurants, bars and shops.
The centre still has a genuine Spanish feel, with picturesque
narrow streets which are cordoned off in summer nights so that
people can enjoy their paseo. Very limited night-life with just
a couple of disco bars (some distance away from our apartment!).
AND OTHER INFORMATION
Nearest Airport is Malaga. There is a dual carriageway road from
the airport direct to Nerja, (55 Km). No pets.
The normal changeover day is Saturday, but alternatives can be
arranged, especially in winter.
N.B. Outside summer, there is a
25% discount for rentals of 4 weeks or more.
The price includes the provision of sufficient laundry for a weekly
change of bed-linen, hand and bath towels (but please bring your
own beach towels).
The apartment is cleaned and laundered before arrival but not
during the rental period.
