One of two blonde stone houses sleeping 6, which has been comfortably and spaciously converted leaving many exposed beams and original features. There are 3 double bedrooms, one en suite bedroom with a double bed, the bathroom has a bath with shower attachment. Second double room with twin single beds, and the 3rd double room with a double bed (singles on request). The 2nd bathroom has a shower, basin and WC.
Downstairs there is a large sitting room with open fireplace, comfortable armchairs, and a dining area with table and chairs. A separate kitchen next door with fitted cupboards, oven, fridge, washing up machine and everything for 6 people. There is a downstairs WC and a washing machine. The sitting room and kitchen both open out on to a private hedged garden with table and chairs. There is use of a BBQ. The swimming pool 5m x 10m is shared between the two houses, (your English speaking host lives in the other and also has guest rooms,) and is set at a decent noise distance from either house in a large open space although it is fenced and overlooks a panoramic view of a wooded valley. There is about 5 acres of garden. The house and garden may be unsuitable for very small children and the stairs may be difficult for the elderly.

There are 85 km of paved track for bikes and roller blades, 4 bicycles are available for let and you can reach part of the track 5 km away. We are ideally placed close to St Emilion for all the Bordeaux vineyards, where many tours, visits or tastings can be arranged. There are even 2 hour to 3 day wine courses to arrange. Aromatherapy is available, and on request baby sitting, maid service.

Location: Bordeaux, Aquitaine. 25 Km directly east of Bordeaux, in the small village of St Quentin de Baron.
A mass of local markets, 5 local golf courses, village tennis courts, day or evening boat trips on the Dordogne, history galore, and many local restaurants, with the sophistication and shops of Bordeaux 25 minutes away.
