The house can accommodate up to five people. There is one large bedroom on the upper floor with a double bed and an adjoining smaller room equipped with built-in wardrobes and a single bed. Behind the house, beyond the small courtyard, there is another upper bedroom which can be used either as a single or a twin.
The small kitchen is modern and amply equipped for vacationers, and includes a conventional stove and microwave. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a hot shower and sewered toilet. An automatic washing machine is installed. The house has comfortable electric heating for winter.
A foldaway cot for a baby is provided, along with bed linen, towels etc for all the beds.
There is a portable electric heater for use in the rear twin bedroom.

There is a selection of books and journals for relaxed reading and a radio/cassette/CD sound system.

Carcassonne is 20 minutes by road, the Mediterranean beaches are only 90 minutes away, and Barcelona can be reached in 3.5 hours.
There are many fantastic local vineyards surrounding the village. Many of these are within walking distance.
Near the house there is a shop which stocks groceries, fruit, vegetables etc. A little further away there is a larger food market. There is also a post office, pharmacy, dentist and doctors' surgeries. The village restaurants, Hotel D'Alibert and Argent Double are both excellent and reasonably priced.
You can obtain good quality bulk wine from the local wine Co-operative which opens Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Co-operative will fill the 5 litre containers stored under the kitchen sink with the wine of your choice (one for white wine one for red).

Nearest international airports are Carcassonne and Toulouse.
No pets allowed.
